  The team at HomeInstead Lakewood have been kind, caring, and professional, and they worked closely with me to find wonderful companions for my mom even before any health concerns arose. Since my mom’s cancer diagnosis and our car accident, they have been especially supportive, flexible, and genuinely caring. I cannot express how grateful I am for their help and concern during such a difficult time. We recently transitioned to live-in care, which has been an adjustment for Mom. The team continues to create a feeling of being seen, heard, understood, and supported. These folks are truly fantastic. I would be lost without their assistance, and I am deeply grateful for everything they do for me and Mom. I highly recommend HomeInstead - Lakewood.

  I have used both their full time and part time care for my parents. Barbara and her team have been supportive, flexible and very thoughtful in matching the caregivers to my parents needs. Most notable was a recent situation where my parents needed care/ride to a graduation party for their grand daughter. Unfortunately, the original caregiver had a death in his family the night before the event. Barbara was able to quickly find another caregiver, last minute so my parents could still attend the party. It was a wonderful event, made even better with my parents attendance. Thank you Home Instead!

  This company was very dissatisfying for us, they coudn't staff people for my my 94 year old mom all the time, and when one of their Care Givers call out, they will not, or can not replace them, many times i was left to care for my mom by myself. They will tell you they can cover overnight shifts, but they can't, they are very understaffed, if you want to use them go ahead, but I would not recommend them

  BarbaraAnn bent over backwards to accommodate our needs, finding caregivers for my aunt and uncle as they dealt with health issues. We had a number of last minute changes and immediate needs, and they met them all. The caregivers they provided also dealt with a challenging situation professionally. I highly recommend BarbaraAnn and her team.

  I just received an extremely aggressive sales phone call from a Rosemary from Home Instead. She misunderstood my online request for more information about the company . My mistake I'm assuming .I'll never call them again and if the number comes up again ,I'll have no choice but to escalate this to a supervisor . For some reason this Rosemary was the rudest person I've ever spoken to in my life ! She thought I was trying to work for her . no .I'm not . I'm interested in hiring someone to care for my mother while I go to work but not for them . I'm not having any luck finding decent CHHA in this area where the elderly population is huge. Home health care is not really government supervised. This is scary .The last company we used sent a different girl every time . There last girl I had in here stole from us. They don't do background checks . I don't know anything about the reputation of this company but I highly recommend that people stay clear of this Rosemary . She is the epitome of rude .
