  Dr. Monika was one of the worst doctors I have ever dealt with. She was rude, dishonest, and showed zero respect or compassion. The payment dispute only proved how unprofessional this place really is. I would never recommend Pain and Disability Institute to anyone.

  The offices are filthy, stained ancient carpeting. Stained cloth chairs. They would not email us the initial paperwork and you could not access it on line. There are about 30 pages of intake questions, dealing with disability claims, auto accidents , and narcotic management of pain. . At least 25 of the pages did not apply to the reason we were seeing Dr Brand. One of the intake staff wanted a urine sample from my husband. When I told her we were not there for narcotics, she said , “well I do not know what you were here for” she then was away from the desk for 15 minutes. When she came back, I requested my husband’s insurance cards back and that we no longer wanted to see Dr Brand It was a very disorganized and dirty, ancient office setting. We had been in the office for 1 hour at this point in time , past our appointment time. We were at Dr Brand to assess my husband for genicular nerve ablation . She had done the procedure on myself about 18 months ago when she was with another group in Paramus. I was shocked by the state of this new office. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

  This place is unbelievable after getting the doctor's dictated notes the day she (Monica Metha ) fully discharge me wrote a letter to another doctor stating I discharged myself for the love of money 💰 Got my medical records Update after filing the complaint against this facility they were found to be in violation with Hippa Standards federal now I can finally have my medical records without the charge of 385 dollars they are not to charge a fee for social security or disability to send your medical records to any doctor that request them if any charge it should be only 6.50 shame on you .you should be hearing from them soon if you haven't already it's sad because this put me in a year and a half waiting period for social security disability have been going to this place for over a year and a half very unprofessional with treating your patients this place is about milking your insurance they want you to pay to send medical records to social security disability fee is 385 this is against the law you have the junkies running your business it will come to an end not every one that come through your door needs medication as they say I will never return to this place fire department should of been called yesterday not one bathroom was working only for staff sad world ps since you want to respond just make sure when Hippa investigate the claim i put in against you, this was done way before yesterday you can than send my medical reports have a nice day someone that can't even open sugar packs what to inject you no sorry but not sorry the best decision was for you to discharge me

  Dr A Mehta is an amazing dr who truly cares for his patients. He listens and finds the best way to treat you. He talks to you and not down to you. He saved my life! I would recommend him and Dr Monica to anyone. Sure sometimes the wait can be long but that’s because he TAKES HIS TIME with his patients. He doesn’t just see you as a number, you are a person and he takes the time to REALLY listen to you.
