I strongly advise Bilt members to skip this place—their policies are completely unclear and inconsistent, and their communication is non-existent. I called three days before my scheduled class to request a reschedule. The person at the front desk didn't know how to handle Bilt bookings and promised to consult a manager and call me back. I never heard back. As a result, I missed the class and lost the Bilt credits. When I reached out afterward, they refused to reschedule or compensate/apologize for the situation, despite the issue stemming entirely from their lack of follow-through. A simple, sincere acknowledgment of their unresponsiveness would have resolved my concerns. Instead, management repeatedly framed me as a "free-rider" (see the owner’s response below) while ignoring their own missteps. I had no intention of escalating this until I stopped by yesterday to communicate over what happened, only for them to: 1. Dismiss their lack of follow-through, ignoring that they never called me back as promised to explain their policy upfront. 2. Refuse to take accountability or apologize, sending me a link to pay full price for another class as "amends" for their own mistakes(Why should I pay extra for the consequence of your miscommunication?). 3. Enforce unwritten rules aggressiveely. Their policy nowhere states that a class must be taken exclusively by the primary Bilt account holder. A male family member kindly booked this class for me using his Bilt credits and authorized me to attend in his place since the classes are usually for females. Yet when I brought up the miscommunication, the instructor declared I had "NO RIGHT" to be there—despite having happily admitted me to her class back in May under the exact same arrangement. 4. Send me a threatening message after I posted this honest Google review. I did not leave a 1-star review for your other location because they actually communicated effectively and professionally and made me fully understand the policy yesterday for the first time. In fact, you should thank them—it was their clear explanation of the policy that made me realize just how poorly managed your location was back in June and still is as I am writing this review. Things like this could have been avoided if you called me back to explain the policy clearly as promised back in June. I tried to talk to you in a friendly manner yesterday since I was already there with you in-person, but the way you managed this situation did make me feel disrespected. And this is why I am telling the truth here. To any Bilt member—especially if you are a MAN planning to book a class as a gift or gesture for a female relative—spend your credits elsewhere. Save yourself the hassle and patronize a business that values clear policies and basic respect for its customers.
