The Center for Weight Loss at AtlantiCare provides a comprehensive, multidisciplinary bariatric program serving southeastern New Jersey. The program offers multiple surgical options (including minimally invasive robotic procedures such as sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, and revision surgeries), medically supervised weight-loss alternatives, a Surgical Weight Loss “Boot Camp” pre‑surgery orientation, and ongoing patient support groups. A coordinated team of surgeons, nursing staff, registered dietitians, physical and respiratory therapists, behavioral health counselors, and patient care coordinators work together to personalize care, support long-term health goals, and manage related medical conditions. AtlantiCare’s bariatric program has been recognized by the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) as a Bariatric Center of Excellence since 2005.
