- EBEmma B.Apr 17, 20262.0My exam was amazing, hence the extra star, but the customer service leaves much to be desired. The opticians are rude and act like you’re taking up their time when you ask optical-related questions that the sales associates can’t answer. The sales associates add things to your order without explaining why or listening to you. They just press a bunch of buttons, turn the tablet around and stare at you. When I asked if it was possible to choose basic single vision lenses that stay within my insurance copays, I was told no with no explanation why. The only time they really seemed to care was when I decided to walk away from the sale. If you want to spend a ton of money on luxury frames and high end lenses with no questions, you might be treated better, but they will upsell you as much as possible and not negotiate pricing. As someone who works in optical myself, it’s really disappointing to experience this behavior and level of service.
