I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my experience with the staff, the optometrist at the LensCrafters location in Bridgewater Commons.
From the first interaction, I felt rushed and dismissed. I had patiently waited approximately 30–40 minutes for the customer ahead of me, yet when it was my turn, the interaction felt hurried. Lori mentioned that the office was short-staffed, but staffing issues should not affect the quality of service provided.
She also commented that I came close to closing time. If the store is open until 9:00 p.m., customers should receive professional, courteous service until closing. Many customers work during the day and can only come after work hours.
During my appointment, she repeatedly interrupted our interaction to discuss another customer’s return with another associate, which I found unprofessional and distracting.
I was also uncomfortable with the inconsiderate way she interacted with my children.

Aweful store. It took them 30+ days to fill an eye glass script and I was accepting the floor model. I spent >$2,000 there to pick up defective glasses and asked the optician if he would give me eyeglass cleaner and he said only if I paid his mortgage. I still don’t have the right glasses!

I want to thank Tracey for her quick and professional repair of my glasses. She made it a “customer delight” moment.

I absolutely love this store !! My long time eye doctor retired, and I had no idea where to go, and a friend recommended LensCrafters Bridgewater. Everyone made it so pleasant, it was super easy to make an appointment and
the eye doctor was very thorough and asked me many questions making me feel very comfortable. Michelle , one of the eye care advisors was amazing and helped me pick out the perfect pair of glasses! When I went back to pick them up, one of the managers jumped in to help me adjust them properly! It was a seamless experience and I will definitely be returning each year!

Calling for the first time as someone who has never worn glasses and has basic questions like frame selection and lens options Girl seemed annoyed and trying to get me off the phone. She literally took a deep breath, said “ok last question” like she had something better to do. I don’t think I’ll be buying my glasses here.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
