  I started Pilates at Club Pilates Portsmouth in May ‘22 going to a sample class to check it out… I was instantly hooked. I would highly recommend Club Pilates - Portsmouth to anyone. Specifically: Instructors - they are all different, very well trained, and give good direction for both beginners and more advanced clients, Classes - clients have a good selection of classes with varying degrees of progression (difficulty), Scheduling - you can easily do it yourself with a very user-friendly app. or you can call or stop by the studio and someone will be happy to help you, Studio - state of the art equipment and props that are always clean and ready to go. I am 60 years old and in just over 3 months, I am stronger, healthier, sleeping better, and happier as a result of Pilates. The Club Pilates Studio Membership and all it offers has made it easy to learn and progress. I started with an 8 class per month membership and quickly went to and unlimited as I look forward to going as often as possible! I TOTALLY GET MY MONEY’S WORTH. Only regret… I didn't start sooner!

  I totally love Club Pilates. However, I suffered injury after just two classes due to an undiagnosed arthritic condition in both knees. I had Xray done and learned my knees are almost bone on bone! Subsequently, I have been given a steroid shot in the knee and am improving. So my suggestion would be--if you get a new client of a certain age like me, highly encourage them to be checked out by their doctor before starting a regular class schedule. If I had known what was brewing in my knees I might have been able to modify the workout accordingly with my instructor's help. I thank you for the happy times spent in your club.   On February 4, 2021 I walked into Club Pilates for my first class on their opening day. I saw the 100 club board and set my goal to sign that board as soon as possible. Covid isolation, stress, as well as being middle-aged had left me and my body feeling horrible, old and beyond out of shape. I started with maybe 2 weeks of going twice a week, then I was like LETS GO, and since then I’ve been going 5 or more times a week minimum. I’m loving taking more and more challenging classes every week, reformer classes, cardio sculpt, TRX, and the level 2.0 classes… but I also love being a part of the CP community. I look forward to every single class, I am never bored or tired of it, and I never find an excuse not to go!
