  I called in an anti-seizure medication refill before the pharmacy opened on 5/26 for my cat. This is a critical, time sensitive medication. Through the automated phone process I was advised that the prescription had run out of refills and, again through the automated system, I had given approval for the pharmacist to request a new script from our veterinarian. Our vet office contacted my wife that day to confirm the request and dosage and advised the script would be submitted that day. We had received no notification from Hannaford that the prescription had been filled. I called 5/28 to confirm the medication and was told by the pharmacy manager they had not received the script. I had become heated given the situation, and the manager hung up on me without any information about the script. I went to the location between 6:45pm and 7:00pm and was told the same as I had over the phone with no other information, though this was not the fault of the manager I spoke to at that time. He was pleasant and understanding. My wife called our vet and left a message to respond shortly after this interaction. My cat would go over 12 hours without this critical medication as no resolution had been reached. My wife received a call from our vet 5/29 shortly after they opened at 8am to confirm they had sent the script to Hannaford pharmacy on 5/26, the day I called in the refill. We will be transfering all prescriptions away from the Keene Hannaford pharmacy going forward, and until they identify their failure and address it appropriately, I will advise all others to do the same.

  I have 3 prescriptions, 2 of which are cheap, and the other costs a bit. When the expensive one went up in price, I shopped around. Hannaford was cheaper on all 3, and half the price on the expensive one. Switched all to Hannaford, and saving $300 a year.
