  I'm done with Hannaford pharmacy. Very unprofessional. I am on immunosuppressants for my liver and they are very important to me. The last three times I've needed to get them filled I had an issue. Either they tell me I didn't have insurance (I have anthem) because their computers won't update and keep saying that I have Medicare. I've never had Medicare, I wouldn't even qualify. I'm 41. Once I finally get past that issue, they are out of stock of the prescription that I desperately need. They lied to my wife when she went to get my prescription this morning, telling her that they told me they didn't have any left when I called yesterday, when what they actually told me was I didn't have any refills left. I called my doctor and had her send over a new script yesterday. I'm done. Terrible service.

  Unprofessional, dismissive and worst of all, DISHONEST. Please don’t use this pharmacy. The lack of care is astounding. I tried to get a prescription filled through their automated system. 3 days later I went to pick it up, and was told by a staff member that although my request was confirmed, it wasn’t filled. He said they called my doctor’s office, left a message and the office never called back. This was an outright lie. I called my doctor’s office and they said they had a particular problem with this pharmacy, because they’ve repeatedly told this story to several patients, and it’s entirely untrue. At this point I’ve been without my medication for days and the withdrawals were horrible. Nevertheless, my doctor sent in a new prescription. Hannaford pharmacy got the info they needed and still refused to fill the prescription because “your insurance insists that it be mail-ordered.” I called my health insurance. That was another lie. My insurance urged me to leave this pharmacy because they’re building such a strongly incompetent reputation. I switched to CVS and sure enough, CVS was seamless, professional, and had my prescription ready the same day. Do not waste your time at this pharmacy. They show little to no care for their patients, barely communicate, and apparently, feel comfortable fabricating excuses to minimize their workload. The entire experience makes me want to avoid buying groceries at Hannaford as well.

  After our local Rite Aid closed I switched to Hannaford because it was the closest, but since then I've been moving everything to either an online/delivery pharmacy or to CVS. Hannaford takes days to fill even the simplest prescription when other pharmacies like CVS fill it within hours. I've even gotten mail order faster than Hannaford. They also made an error on filling a prescription with generic when my doctor had requested the name brand and then they gave me a hard time when I had to get it corrected. The drug prices are generally higher than what I pay elsewhere as well. The staff can be hit or miss - some are friendly but mostly they are not especially interested in being helpful. Not sure what the issue is here, but it has been going on for a while (I used to use Hannaford before switching to Rite Aid and it was not great back then either, I was hoping it would be better by now, but clearly not). I hate leaving bad reviews - but they clearly need to evaluate what the issue is, especially with the long delays in filling prescriptions.

  This is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever used in my life. I switched to this pharmacy after the local rite aid closed down a few months ago and i haven’t had a single seamless transaction once. There have been multiple occasions where i’ve talked to staff on the phone and have been told my prescription is being refilled, and then have shown up to pick up and find out the prescription isn’t refilled and doesn’t even have an order placed. This most recent time, i was told by a staff member that my prescription was being ordered and could be picked up the following day, and that i would receive a text message when ready. Several days went by without a message so i decided to reach out. Find out that my prescription was apparently out of stock and they wanted me to call back again the following day to place another order to see if it was available yet. Nobody reached out to tell me that my prescription was going to be delayed and when i called about this instance the worker on the phone was very rude and confusing to understand. On multiple other occasions i have been given less of my prescription then originally ordered and told i was expecting the incorrect amount even after i called my provider to ensure how much i should be receiving, and had her attach a note to my order emphasizing the correct amount. Most of the staff here is very kind and pleasant to interact with, however, there must be some serious miscommunication or other complication that tends to interfere with nearly every experience i have ever had here.
