  Talked to a lady who schedules for Dr.Johnson today. Needless to say she was rude and condescending and even irate at times. When I’m trying to schedule my wife for an urgent follow up from having pneumonia in the ER the previous day and all she has to say is my wife is rude and to my reply of well she’s very sick with pneumonia her reply was been there done that. I asked to speak with Dr. Johnson multiple times to which I was scoffed at and told he doesn’t speak to people without an appointment we would lose money. And that even though our ER doctor consoled him she said he doesn’t make his schedule I DO. I did not catch her name but if this business knows who she is and records phone calls this should be looked back on because she absolutely does not need to be representing this business in any capacity.

  Dr. Ali Piper is my physician and she is great and I have a good personal relationship with her. However, I agree with many of the reviews here that it is impossible to reach anyone by phone. Wait times to get results are unduly lengthy and I end up having to call to nag somebody. Communication from the insurance staff and nursing staff is not timely. Wait times for office visits are longer than any other specialty physician I visit. The patient experience requires much improvement at this practice.

  (I went to the location at Lakeside, but it's not coming up on Google maps, so I am leaving my review here since it's all the same company.) I live and work downtown, but my doctor referred me here to get a pulmonary test done. I took time off of work and came all the way out to Lakeside for my appointment at 8am. When I got there, the receptionist informed me that the person scheduled to do my test called out sick (I guess they only have one employee who can administer this test, which seems crazy to me). She was not apologetic at all and asked if I could come back at 1pm, as if that wouldn’t be an issue. I get that emergencies happen, but there should always be a backup person for those occasions. And at least give people a quicker heads up and show some remorse! This place is extremely unprofessional, and I won’t be coming back. If only they would reimburse me for gas and the sick leave I had to use! Schedule your appointment elsewhere, seriously.

  After numerous times calling the facility, I was never able to talk to anyone. I’ve left several messages with a changed number to return my call. Never got a call back to that number. Instead they called a different number where I cannot answer while at work. They leave a message saying they’ve tried calling me back 3 times & only got the voicemail. Clearly they never listen to the numerous voicemails I’ve left or are not capable of comprehending the number I left. When you have tests done at the facility don’t expect them to ever notify you of the results

  Very frustrating and incompetent in handling insurance authorizations and then relaying accurate info to the patient. What a waste of time Them and Bryan Sleep Study Lab need to get their acts together
