This location needs a lot of work. Disappointing, ineffective. Every time I've gone in, employees are preoccupied on their phones or playing with their nails.
I purchased a pair of Rx Oakley's in late March/early April. After insurance, I paid close to $400. The year before, I purchased a pair of regular Oakley's for day-to-day use (about $300) with no issues. During a recent vacation, the frames came apart twice; one arm came off randomly and then a lens popped out while gently applying pressure (using a microfiber cloth purchased from this store). I've owned various pairs of Rx sunglasses through the years, including Oakley and Ray Ban, and have never had this occur. I thought you get what you paid for? On that vacation, I twice had to make a stop out of state as I didn't want to risk making the issue worse by repairing myself.
I came into the store on June 8 upon returning and explained the situation. The gentleman assisting me was effectively useless. I was told there was nothing that could be done when I requested a repair of the frames. A female co-worker on her off day happened to overhear and offered to reach out to a regional manager and call me the next day. I decided to remain patient, but ultimately never heard from her or anyone despite the offer. While I was in store, I filled out an online warranty claim at this gentleman's desk which took probably close to 20 minutes.
Finally, after hearing nothing from the store, I made another visit on 6/22. The same gentleman was there and acted like he had no knowledge of anything and had a deer in the headlights look. He told me he would look into why I wasn't contacted. I highly doubt he relayed anything.
Between the two trips to fix these glasses on vacation out of state and the country, the 6/8 visit, the 6/22 visit, and ultimately when I return to place the lens back in the frame, that's FIVE visits to repair glasses that are not even 90 days old. I am extremely diligent and they stay in a case at all times and only use LensCrafters cloths to periodically clean. Infact, that's about all the gentleman on 6/8 did was clean my lenses. I'm not sure how that's supposed to fix the shotty job of constructing the frames that took place.
Why am I making a handful of trips to resolve this plus mailing the frames back to Oakley when LensCrafters should be taking the initiative to do so? They can't be bothered to lift a finger or live up to the promises they made.

I got clear lacquer on the lenses of my glasses and the lady that was working tonight was extremely helpful in getting it all cleaned off and making my lenses like brand new again!

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
