Extremely dishonest people. I made an appointment for my relative for "Cleaning, Exam, and All x-rays", for a new patient. They only did the exam and x-rays and then charged him $300 for that alone. They did not even offer a cleaning or explain why they were not doing it. They pressured him when he tried to call a relative to consult about whether to buy their membership plan. If we just wanted an exam and x-rays, we would have gone to Aspen or any number of places. They did zero patient education and treated him with disdain, with a primary focus on getting his money.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. I would give them NO stars if I could. My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed by Sean Hershberger on a Monday. By Friday she was in a lot of pain still so she called and they couldn’t see her until the following Wednesday. I then called and told them she is having complications from surgery and needed to be seen that day! They said they would check the schedule and call my daughter back. After two hours I finally called them back and they squeezed her in a couple of hours later. She had a dry socket so, Dr Hershberger packed it with medicine. He said if she had any problems over The Weeknd, she has his number. On Saturday afternoon she messaged him because she needed it packed again and in a lot of pain. He said that it needed a little time and he is sorry she is in pain! I’ve been in the dental field as an employee for 40+ years so I consulted an oral surgeon in town who said she needs the dry socket packed again and offered to see my daughter and not even charge her for it. I called and left a message for Hershberger, that it is his obligation to see her but he never returned my call. I guess my daughter is just supposed to sit around in pain because she had an allergic reaction to the pain killer he gave her and wouldn’t prescribe anything else either. If you want to be treated like yesterdays garbage, I guess go to Capital Dental.
I’ve been around the dental industry all my life and worked in it myself for almost 7 years and I’ve never been treated so unprofessionally in the dental industry by anyone else like I have been here.
They don’t respect you, do not listen to you, nor help you when in need. Very dismissive and easily distracted while working. Treat you as if you have no idea what you’re talking about, when you’ve worked in the industry and KNOW.
I would never recommend such poor service and lack of care to anyone I know. Wisdom teeth removal is serious and emergencies should be taken seriously and it was not and I had to go to a family friend to receive help since I was ignored.
Worst part is, one of these dentist was actually one that was in the same company as my family member before he switched to Capital Dental. Now I know why, minimal effort. 0/10.

My experience at Capital Dental was fantastic! It had been over a year since my last cleaning and my hygienist Kelsey was so kind and understanding. I love that she took the time to explain all of the tools she was using throughout our time together. If you’ve been putting off scheduling your appointment, take this as a sign to call them up! Also, bonus points on the new customer welcome gift. I won’t spoil the surprise, so you’ll have to go in yourself ;)
