I would love to give a five-star. Here is the thing. The staff are amazing. I'm very good at picking up vibes and it's one particular person that I feel rubs me the wrong way. I work and have a job also just like the staff that are behind the counter taking care of us. By the time I get off work I wouldn't make it there when it's going on 7:00 when they close. I can feel the attitude and I feel like she's breaking the rules because if I have came in late, at least it's 5 minutes instead of 15 minutes that I have to sit and wait and my BPM is high. She wants to wait until the results come back for my blood test and then do it not even 5 minutes as if she's in a rush. I understand I keep coming in around the same time but at the same time, there are rules in place for you and I sense attitude. I've been doing good holding my composure because I know how I can get. Times are hard right now and I know they are very good at kicking people out. I know she and others will read this that works there and that is a good thing. She knows who she is. It's not none of the people in the back it's the one that works in the front in the evenings. The best part about her job is if you wanted to stay at home you should have never came to work. I have a job just like she has a job and I'm just like the rest of the people who come in and donate and we are the reason she gets paid. She doesn't really say nothing because she knows it's the truth but I can't wait till that day she said something. One person said something to me but she was fine about it and I told her that I have a job just like she have a job. The difference is I get off of my job at a different time than she does and I was able to make it to donate. Get it together with that lazy little big girl in the front who keeps making eye contact me in a nasty way. I donated there around 60 times because I know that my plasma is helping someone out there and the money is helping me also. The rules are the rules and if you didn't want to work you should have stayed home eating corn puffs on your couch. I don't want to get anyone in trouble even though I'm sure she won't get in trouble but if you wanted to stay at home, you should just stayed at home and not work. For the rest of the workers, you guys are amazing and keep up the good work.

I don’t understand why it takes 4 staff members to assist one person who’s having issues while donating. Especially when they over 20 individuals who are waiting to donate.

First time donor here, was so excited to give. However, I walked in and was trying to sign up via the kiosk and it timed out and I couldn’t get it to go back to the Home Screen. I waited and waited, had to be at least 30 minutes and despite staff seeing me, not a single person acknowledged me. So, I left. Crazy!!

I had a great first donation experience, but my second visit was honestly one of the worst medical experiences I’ve had. During my second donation, they punctured through my vein. I could immediately feel something was wrong — there was swelling and pressure, and when they started the blood return, it became extremely painful. It felt like the blood was going into my arm tissue instead of a vein. I told them to stop. I left the bandage on for about two hours, and when I removed it, the bruising started spreading outward across my arm. You can see the puncture wound was not anywhere near the bruise. It wasn’t normal bruising — it kept expanding, and I experienced tingling, numbness, and weakness that lasted three weeks. It took me months to fully recover. This was not my first time donating plasma, so I know what is normal and what isn’t. This was clearly not handled properly. What made it worse is that the person who did it was a manager, and the staff dismissed it as “normal bruising,” which it absolutely was not. I filed a complaint, and it took a full month to even get a response. The lack of accountability and concern for patient safety is extremely disappointing. I would strongly recommend others be cautious. This experience was not only painful but also concerning in terms of how it was handled afterward. KEDPLASMA response, “I apologize for the inconvenience. Looking at the system, it looks like you had an infarction that resulted in a Hematoma. You are ok to continue donation, a medical evaluation will be performed by the center's medical staff.” THATS IT! I asked for documents and proof that this was documented and I was told three times I would be sent these documents and never received them, this place is a joke. Since the incident, I have continued to experience ongoing symptoms including tingling, numbness, and abnormal sensations in my arm and fingers. These are not consistent with a minor bruise and raise serious concerns about nerve involvement or improper procedure during the donation. Because of this injury, I am no longer able to safely donate plasma again. Their statement that I am “ok to continue donation” is inaccurate and dismissive of my current condition. I have already sought medical attention, and I am continuing to monitor these symptoms. This situation has caused me physical harm, distress, and loss of ability to continue donating. At this point, I believe this injury was caused by negligence during the donation process. I will not be returning to donate. EVER. The money isn’t worth it. But I will see them in court.
