East Central District Health Department

The East Central District Health Department (ECDHD) is a state-approved district health department that provides public health services to its four-county service area of Boone, Colfax, Nance and Platte counties. Programs at ECDHD include: --Breastfeeding Support --Community Health Hubs --Community Health Improvement Planning --Early Development Network --Emergency Preparedness --Environmental Health --Health Screenings and Health Education --Immunizations and Vaccinations --Mpox --Minority Health --Public Health Surveillance/Infectious Disease --Substance Abuse Prevention and Education --West Nile Virus --Women, Infants and Children (WIC) We are co-located with Good Neighbor Community Health Center, but ECDHD is not a medical clinic.
