AAASF Surgical Suite The operating suite at the Summit office in Wilmington is nationally accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAASF). We were the first in Wilmington to have this important distinction demonstrating that we maintain the highest quality of patient care. Our operating suite meets the stringent national standards for equipment, operating room safety protocols, certified personnel and credentialing as set forth by the AAAASF. CLIA Certified Mohs Lab For your convenience and to ensure the very best outcome from your cancer surgery, the Summit has CLIA certified Mohs labs in Wilmington and Supply. Our board certified dermatologist is a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. This means that your pathology specimen is prepared in our CLIA certified lab and is being read under the microscope at the time of your surgery. This methodical process in which tissue is removed and examined, has the highest cure rate for skin cancer removal.

    I am so happy and pleased with my Brow Lift procedure with Dr. Ricciardelli and his nurse Allyson and the Dream Team at Summit Plastic Surgery and Dermatology. My brow lift looks beautiful, natural, and very well done. I highly recommend Dr. Ricciardelli (Dr. R) and his caring, fun-loving, and dedicated Staff for any Aesthetic Surgery.

    Fantastic experience!! Had some plastic surgery under local, so completely awake the whole time. Not scary at all, and fast recovery when you don’t get put under. My results are fabulous, very natural. Dr Ricadelli and his staff were amazing from start to finish!! Highly recommend!!!!!!

    I have been a patient at Summit Dermatology Hampstead for ten years. The medical they provide is superb. My treatments have ranged from simple pre cancerous squeamous cells to more difficult sqeamous cell carcinoma MOHS surgery. The two standouts for me have been Ms. Margene Tranter (PA) - heavily experienced and delightful -; and Dr. Sica - MOHS Surgeon - professional and personable, to include follow up calls to check on how I feel. Literally, ever Summit employee has been helpful and professional. By the way, I drive down from Jacksonville NC to Hampstead NC for my dermatology needs (100 mile round trip); will continue to do so.

    Blair and Susan are wonderful. They are kind, gentle and caring. Blair is so gentle with the numbing shots that I didn’t feel a thing! A great team at Summit for sure! They are the best!
