- RBRichard Burke3 days ago5.0I was seen remarkably fast for an urgent, worsening, forearm lesion and my experience from start to finish was exemplary. I was treated by Dr. Avery Bevin, and his very able assistant, and their treatment was superb in every respect. After a thorough exam and detailed history, I underwent an excisional biopsy. Dr. Bevin also took to opportunity to do a skin check and treated an asymptomatic scalp lesion. I have undergone numerous skin biopsies in life and this one was, by far, the best.

I wanted a mole and a red spot on my upper lip lasered and in the past my Dermatologist performed this type of function when I came in for a skin check. The response I got when I suggested this was “we can do that if the mole bothers you.” I would not have brought it up if I did not want it lasered. Can a PA do this or does it require another appointment with a dermatologist?
