We offer access to board certified, highly respected plastic, reconstructive, and Mohs surgeons in one office. For over twenty years, our providers have had a proven track record and excellent reputation in the area. Our doctors and staff have led the way in quality, service, and convenience. From developing the first accredited operating office suite in Wilmington to achieving local and national recognition, our providers have above all honored the Summit mission: “to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to our patients”.
AAASF Surgical Suite
The operating suite at the Summit office in Wilmington is nationally accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAASF). We were the first in Wilmington to have this important distinction demonstrating that we maintain the highest quality of patient care. Our operating suite meets the stringent national standards for equipment, operating room safety protocols, certified personnel and credentialing as set forth by the AAAASF.
CLIA Certified Mohs Lab
For your convenience and to ensure the very best outcome from your cancer surgery, the Summit has CLIA certified Mohs labs in Wilmington and Supply. Our board certified dermatologist is a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. This means that your pathology specimen is prepared in our CLIA certified lab and is being read under the microscope at the time of your surgery. This methodical process in which tissue is removed and examined, has the highest cure rate for skin cancer removal.

Dr. R and Allyson were kind, thorough and prompt from the first consultation to the post op appointments. My confidence was restored thanks to Dr. R's great work, I cannot recommend him enough! If I ever need anything else cosmetic, Summit is where I will be!
- JMjane mccormackApr 21, 20261.0I had a very awkward appt and probably will not return. The DR, NP, PA not sure what she was because I was never told. She came in and was giving me the impression the reason I was there was not her priority. Never asked me to to sit on the table so I was just standing in the middle of the room kind of lost. She asked to see where my problem was and I was having trouble lifting my shirt due to mobility issues. Never did she or the other person in the room offer to help. Never explained what it was that I had. I work in a medical office and I was so disappointed in this practice. I really felt that these two girls hated their job and were just going through the motions.
