Customer service is excellent. They helped to correct a mistake from another company and made everything easy. I will no longer try and save a few dollars by going to their competitor. In the end it was simply too expensive. Do it right the first time and just go to lens crafters or their affiliates co located in the store.

I was very disappointed to see when I got there it wasn't the Doctor I had requested and they didn't let me know. The Doctor wasn't as thorough as the one I asked for.

Honestly a terrible experience. I was RE DIAGNOSED with something super minor from almost 10 years ago and then billed not only to my vision insurance but also to my health insurance because of the “way it was coded”. As if health care didn’t already lack enough transparency. The response to me was “this place offers much more comprehensive services with the doctors we have here”. If that isn’t a scripted response I don’t know what is. Go somewhere else folks, oh and the really pushy sales people at the connected lens crafters are just the cherry on top.
Oh and I don’t want to hear the “we bill to industry standards” zip. Save it. I work healthcare too and I don’t bait and switch the way you guys do. Been going to eye appointments my whole life and this is the first time anyone ever bills both my vision and health insurance and then tells me I owe a ridiculous amount for what? A medical code? A previously diagnosed condition? First ever eye care center that does this, you guys are wrong for it.

Dr. Paquin is wonderful. She is patient and very knowledgeable. She took her time in explaining everything to me.
The tech did make me feel a tad anxious as he rushed me through the pre testing. Maybe he can slow down a bit when he senses someone is nervous.

I have been going to this place since 2023 when I realized the need for glasses. They gave me my first glasses and I have had wonderful experiences with them every time. My visit yesterday was even more exceptional with Dr T. She went above and beyond to explain everything about my eye health and answered all my questions with a smile. The young lady who was my technician, Carissa, was very personable. I work in healthcare, and I know firsthand what it means to be treated respectfully. The young lady who assisted me with choosing new frames was wonderful as well. She was patient as I chose what worked well for me. She was not pushy, but allowed me to drive the choice I ended up with. I will definitely keep North Hills Lens Crafters as my eye care team. Thank you.
Frequently Asked Questions About The Eye Center Raleigh
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What is involved in an eye exam?
An eye exam involves a series of simple but comprehensive tests that allow your optometrist to assess your vision and your eye health. Your optometrist will discuss the results of your eye exam with you and determine the right prescription to help you to see your best.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
