  This was my first time visiting the Food Lion Pharmacy to have my blood pressure checked, and I am so grateful that I did. I had just come from Walgreens, where I was denied assistance even though I wasn’t feeling well and needed to have my blood pressure checked. I left there feeling discouraged. The pharmacist at Food Lion completely changed my day. He welcomed me with kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion. He listened, helped me without hesitation, and treated me with the respect and care every patient deserves. He is truly a gentleman—kind, patient, caring, and incredibly empathetic. He made me feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. That level of humanity is something you never forget. This experience reminded me why I have always loved shopping at Food Lion. Employees like him make all the difference. Thank you for your professionalism, your empathy, and for turning a difficult moment into one of comfort and hope. Food Lion is truly fortunate to have a pharmacist like you. You made a lasting impression, and I will never forget your kindness.

  You’re not just a number here.. they learn who who are quickly and retrieve your Rx before you even tell them your name.. that is so very hard to find nowadays!

  Cathy, Rob and Crystal have always been helpful, considerate and friendly. On a few occasions they applied coupons to lower our out of pocket costs. They also have reached out to our doctors and Optum RX for refills and approval. They are a small pharmacy who know their customers by name. We don’t go to any of the large pharmacies. We wouldn’t get the individualized attention. Thank you Lion Pharmacy! I recommend you to everyone who needs their prescriptions filled!
