Really bad experience with the practice overall. It's getting harder and harder to find compassionate doctors and specialists in today's medical world, and this is one of those unfortunate clinics that seems to care more about treating patients like cattle than caring. Two appointments. For the first one, I arrived on time but had to wait more than 15 minutes for the front desk to locate my paperwork, handle the long line of people arriving at the same time, and then make copies of my insurance card and license. It seemed very disorganized and chaotic. Also, not their fault but so many people were coughing. It was gross. Fine, I was then told to wait in a waiting room, which I did for another 20 minutes. Then I was moved to a back room where, guess what? I waited again. The doctor finally came in and spent I'd say, less than a minute with me before sending me away with a treatment plan. Fine, I wouldn't have written a review even though I felt treated like cattle. I had another visit scheduled for laser treatment. I got the usual 5-10 texts, calls and emails confirming the appointment. I also got calls asking me if I could make it earlier. I called back the morning of the appointment saying that I couldn't make it earlier and the front desk said that was fine. By the way, it took me THREE CALLS to get through - and a lot of hold time. Here's the thing Raleigh foot and ankle center, those of us who work full time can't be spending all day on the phone with your office! Get it together. I live around 35 min from the office so had to clear my calendar for a good part of the day. I did this, arrived on time. Was told by the same woman at the front desk to sit and wait. So I did. I waited. And waited. And waited. A half hour later, after watching person after person come in after me and be seen, I got up to tell her I couldn't wait much longer and she had the audacity to say to me, "Oh, wait, didn't they call you to tell you to come in earlier?" I was like, who is they? She then didn't care at ALL, no empathy and just shrugged and said, "Well I guess scheduling doesn't talk to the doctors". And asked me if I wanted to reschedule. I can't even begin to tell you how over this type of disregard for patients I have. It's so prevalent in this industry and this is another example of a company that hires incompetent front desk, doesn't care, doctors and techs who apparently "leave for the day" even when they have patients. And still want to collect the money. Insane.

Receptionist was not helpful. I was referred by my PCP and was not made aware that payment for a visit was $250. It would have been helpful to know this before showing up for my appointment but I’ll take fault for that. Once told this information I asked for anything in writing explaining this to me. Which she said she didn’t have. I have never heard a a dr office not being able to explain their fees in writing to a patient.

I have been going to them for a few years. In July I was fitted for new orthotics. Insurance paid their part, I paid mine. I waited and waited but was told over and over that they were not in yet. I finally find out they had a problem with their scanner that day. At my own inconvience I had to go back in to get re-scanned. I was told due to the inconvenience I would get them in 2-3 days. To this day, I have never received them. I gone into the office on several occasions, I've called and I cannot get anywhere with them. No one there has any authority to help me. I finally got a call back from the manager who was so very sorry this happened and told me she would make sure I got my orthotics as well as a refund. That was weeks ago and I have never heard back from her again. From the start, they should have immediately informed every patient that was scanned for orthotics that day there was an issue. Instead they let me spend my time and gas money going in there over and over because their call service never seems to give anyone messages. It is so incredibly corporate. They just pass it off from one person to the next until you give up. If you are looking for personal care and a doctor's office that is not so corporate, I recommend that you do not even bother going to see them. It is just not worth it.

First—my doctor was great and the procedure went fine. But the practice is run EXTREMELY poorly. After almost 3 weeks, I experienced spreading pain and redness—but it was over a weekend. I didn’t know what to do; it seemed perhaps unnecessary to go to urgent care or the ER, but I wanted advice. The on-call extension for the on-call doctor literally HANGS UP on you when you try to select it. Every time. So I called during business hours on a Monday. There is not a single menu option for people with medical questions. I tried the surgery coordinator. Voicemail. I tried the appointment desk. Answering service. And this follows them giving me the WRONG post-surgical kit and refusing to refund the money I paid for it. Unacceptable.
