Hey there! The timing for getting a prosthesis can be different for everyone, as it really depends on how your healing process goes after the amputation. Once your doctor sees that you've healed sufficiently, they'll give you the green light for a prosthesis with a prescription.
How long does it take to receive a prosthetic leg?
Great question! The time it takes to receive your prosthetic leg can vary. It mostly depends on how quickly we can get the necessary paperwork from your doctor. Usually, patients are able to get their prosthesis in just a few weeks. We'll do our best to make it as swift as possible!
Do I need to visit your office for a prosthetic evaluation?
No worries about coming to us – we'll come to you! We're happy to make house calls. Your comfort and convenience are important to us.
