  My mother gets care and was referred by the VA. She’s had 2 different long term aides after the 1st retired. They have always been polite and professional. And if there was a problem with a schedule I felt like the communication was good. Life happens and omega is a blessing because I couldn’t do it all myself! Thank you

  I had a very disappointing experience with A-1 Omega. Before signing the contract, the administrator assured me multiple times that they had staff ready to start immediately. She specifically mentioned that she already had people available. Based on that representation, I moved forward. However, it has now been over a month, and they have still been unable to provide consistent staffing. The first person they sent for an interview was presented as someone who would start, but the next day she withdrew, stating she had other offers. The second person we agreed on simply did not show up at all. This raises serious concerns about both their hiring process and how they communicate with families. Either the candidates they rely on are not dependable, or the administration is not managing placements properly. In addition, the administrator provided incorrect information about my son’s eligibility for respite services. She stated he would only qualify for prorated hours depending on the time of year, which was inaccurate. Our case manager later confirmed that he is eligible for the full respite hours regardless of when services begin. This demonstrates a lack of understanding of basic policies. Overall, this has been a very frustrating and unprofessional experience. I have decided to withdraw my son and will not be working with this company moving forward.
