  I am incredibly disappointed and humiliated by my recent experience at this location. As a veteran and a dedicated family man who relies heavily on GNC products for my workouts, I expected far better.My visit started poorly when I arrived during regular store hours to find the door locked. I was forced to wait outside on the sidewalk for five minutes just to get inside. Once allowed in, I selected a five-pound tub of whey protein and showed the clerk, Caleb, my receipt from a previous purchase at this exact store to request a price match for the discounted rate.Instead of handling the request professionally, Caleb immediately began challenging me and rudely stated that he did not believe me. When I tried to calmly explain the process, he escalated the situation and kicked my wife and me out of the store. He left us feeling completely embarrassed and humiliated in front of everyone else shopping.With customer service this hostile and disrespectful, I will never return. This one star rating was highly earned on this visit and should fit well with their current three stars. I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere for your nutrition products.

  If I could give this store, and GNC in general zero stars, that would be my rating. I recently purchased a bag of Hair, Skin & Nails mixed berry, soft chews, and found several hard, foreign objects inside a chew. Luckily, I didn't break a tooth. I immediately called GNC customer service and they were lackluster about the whole incident. They did ask for me to send photos of the object and packaging but declined when I offered to send them the product with the foreign object. I was shocked that they didn't want to investigate the product further which may have meant a recall to protect other consumers. That was not concerning to them at all. When I went back to Morehead City, the "consultant", Magen, charged me for a replacement bag and offered no caring, customer service and no concerns about product contamination. She seemed to think she was doing me a favor by taking the product back because it had been over 30 days since I purchased the bag. After calling customer service back, their "fix" in all this is to give me 300 points, equalling $10.00 toward a product that costs $19.00. Most appalling is that they seem totally disinterested in consumers' possible exposure and/or harm due to their product. I've shopped at GNC down through the years and it's not the same. I wanted to share my experience so others will be aware. I will not be shopping at GNC. GNC never made an attempt to make this right!
