  I am 60+ years old and recently moved to the Mooresville area. Being a new patient, my initial experience was extremely good. I totally trust this practice and will continue to be a patient. The facility is state of the art and the personnel are professional and welcoming.

  From my very first appointment, communication from the front office has been extremely frustrating. I was never informed that I was considered out-of-network, and because I was very pleased with the dentist himself and the dental team, I went out of my way to obtain secondary insurance so I could continue my treatment. Unfortunately, the front desk experience has consistently been disappointing. Even after receiving treatment plans, there seemed to be very little understanding of how my insurance benefits applied. I was given a treatment plan stating that my next appointment would cost a little over $300. I was unable to make that appointment, which I am now thankful for, because when I called two days later to reschedule, I was suddenly told that previous staff had not been knowledgeable about my insurance and that the correct amount would actually be over $700. Anyone would be frustrated to find out that they had been given incorrect information, especially after making decisions based on that information. What was even more disappointing was essentially being told that it was my responsibility to understand my own insurance. While I understand that patients should know their benefits, I also expect a dental office to provide accurate information when discussing treatment costs and insurance coverage. When I expressed my frustration and explained that, because of this experience, I would not be returning, the response I received was, “I hope someone can assist you better.” I responded that it shouldn’t be difficult, considering I was simply asking for accurate information regarding my treatment and financial responsibility. At that point, the conversation became even more unprofessional. I was reminded that the call was being recorded, in a way that felt more like a threat than an effort to resolve the situation. I was also told how much the office had supposedly done to help me, as though expressing a legitimate concern about being given incorrect financial information was somehow disrespectful or unreasonable. That interaction completely confirmed my decision not to return. Patients should be able to express frustration and ask questions about their treatment and finances without feeling threatened, guilted, or talked down to. The dental team itself has been wonderful, and I have nothing negative to say about the dentist or the quality of care I received. Unfortunately, great clinical care doesn’t make up for poor communication, inaccurate financial information, and an unprofessional front-office experience. I ultimately left feeling like my time, money, and insurance benefits had been wasted. I would rather find a practice where I can receive great dental care without feeling like the people handling my account are playing with my pockets.

  Dr. Davidson is the most caring doctor and always makes you feel like family. My family went to him from 2004 to 2013, until we moved to Knoxville. Thanks to Dr. Davidson, I had a great smile for many years, but after being away for 10 years, severe bone loss and severe clenching had left me in pretty bad shape. Over the past year, Dr. Davidson has been incredibly patient with me. With implants and bone grafting involved, he wanted to make absolutely sure that everything was right and that I wasn’t going to damage the work he had already done. He never rushes anything and truly wants everything he does to be prefect. I can’t say enough about Dr. Davidson’s team! Chelsea, Alex and the entire office staff. They are caring, patient, and make you feel comfortable every time you walk through the door. When you actually miss going to the dentist, I think that says it all! ❤️

  I think I have been going to Dr. Burr for close to 10 years now and he is the absolute best! I am currently working with him on my Invisalign journey and I don't think I would trust anyone else with this process. Dr. Burr is not only knowledgeable, but he knows how to ease any concerns and the staff are friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this practice!

  We have been coming here for 5 years and we absolutely love Dr. Burr and Dr. Wilson. Our hygienist is amazing, the orthodontic care is top knotch. We always recommend people go there when they ask. We love them and are so glad we have been able to stay with them so long.
