  DANGER!! WARNING!! Transferred a prescription from CVS for a maintenance med I’ve been taking for a long time. Weekly dose. The new HT Pharmacist decided to change my doctor’s prescribed dosage and quantity in order to get it through insurance. Then when I called her on it, she proceeded to deny it and try to gaslight light me about it. 1, the front desk girl told me that the pharmacist changed it as a solution to get it thru insurance and 2, I was logged into the HT pharmacy website and saw the change occur in real time. I even logged back into the CVS website to confirm the original script I transferred was accurate on their side and it is. 28 day supply, 1 dose a week. What kind of pharmacist takes it upon themselves to change a script like that and then double down and blatantly lie about it. Thankfully I recorded the entire conversation and have screenshots of the website. I’ll be reporting her to the licensing board as well. Make sure you’re being vigilant about what they give you there if you go here!!

  Kylie and David are world-class and go above and beyond for my family regularly. My only issue is the stock. No matter what gets called in, it's never available. I either have to wait a couple of days or drive to another location.

  I'll start by saying I'm a pharmacist with 24 years experience in pharmacy work, including 10 years in community pharmacy and 14 years in education. I'm very particular about which pharmacy I use and which pharmacists I trust. I have been coming to this pharmacy since they opened and I've been very satisfied. The pharmacists and the tech are top tier. Many issues folks experience in a pharmacy are unfortunately due to the nature of community pharmacy these days whereby pharmacy staff are offered little of what they need to do their jobs. I like HT/Kroger as they tend to do better by their staff and patients than other chains. Other limitations people experience are due to pharmacy law. Every human deserves a lunch break during their shift, pharmacy staff included. Pharmacies cannot legally remain opened without a pharmacist on duty, hence the need to close for 30 minutes. They at least make it a convenient time, 2-2:30 (not lunch hour/after work, when most people come). Hours are posted online, on Google maps, and in the store.

  The pharmacy at this location closes unreasonably early compared to all other Harris Teeter pharmacy’s. On top of that, they COMPLETELY close down their pharmacy in the middle of the day for lunch. Are the shortened hours already not enough?
