Dr. Kiser is an intelligent, compassionate and highly-skilled optometrist. During my eye exam visit she explained everything pertaining to my eyes in a patient and friendly manner. In my opinion, she is one of the best—if not the best—optometrists in the area. The front administrative staff were equally professional, respectful and friendly, and I was seen within minutes of my designated appointment time.

Kiser advertises walk in appointments and accepts VSP insurance. Wrong....I was told no about the insurance....Ok then I said I will pay out of pocket because I broke my glasses and i needed them for my work,. Then I asked for a walk in appointment. Was told not today. ok how does this work. The receptionist said make an appointment...Sunday. Today is Tuesday. I asked what if I come in tomorrow at opening? Was told I can get in on Sunday. I explained I need my glasses for my job. Again I asked do you or not offer walk-ins? I Was told I can try to come in tomorrow (Wed) at opening but cannot gtd anything. It's was like pulling teeth just to get that much information out of the receptionist. I will update score if I make it past the receptionist tomorrow.

I been going to Kiser eye care for 10 years, I went in the office a few days ago and went I signed in the unfriendly girl at the desk told me that I owe them 49 dollars from last year’s visit, I pay 10 dollars copay and my insurance pays the full amount, I have never had to pay anything out of my pocket, I ask what it was for and why did you wait a year to say anything and she was very rude and finally she said they billed my insurance for a diabetic form and they didn’t pay it , I been a diabetic for 12 years and have never been charged for a diabetic form , the girl was very harsh with me and she said they don’t send out bills they just wait till you come in again, I ask her why they didn’t call me or email me about when it happened and that my insurance didn’t send me anything saying they didn’t pay it and that I would have to pay for it , I got mad and walked out , they lost my business and the rest of my family business .
