  My family and I are so lucky to have found such a caring person as Caroline Hill through Home Insread. My Mom is much happier than she was being alone each day. She's excited for each new day to discover what she is going to receive help with meals, organizing various ares of her home, help getting exercise when warm, and daily household chores. Even small things like changing TV channels and help with working the thermostat. This help allows my brother and I to work a full day as we have full time jobs. My Mom is thrilled for the helping hand. Thanks Home Instead and Caroline Hill.

  Julia Whitney has been a devoted care giver for two family members of ours for many years. Her dedication and level of care has been second to none. She has gone above and beyond any basic standard of care and in addition to being a care giver offering many of the daily requirements that present itself she has been a friend to those she cares for and their family and friends! She gives us peace of mind knowing that our loved ones are in good hands when we are not able to be with them ourselves!

  Very great place..They help out our residents for Christmas this year..The smiles on our residents face was priceless. Anyone that takes the time out to bless other people with no questions ask is a true blessing. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts..Gateway really appreciated all that you done for us during this Christmas season.

  Home Instead of Hickory has served our family since late 2013. We originally needed assistance for our father who unfortunately passed in December of 2013. There was one young lady with Dad who helped us a lot. We then asked for someone to help our mother, and we have been so blessed to have the very same extraordinary caregiver since February of 2014!! They helped match this person to our needs and we could never have handpicked someone more fitting. She works with our routine and has been more than willing to do all that our mother needs, which has been at several different levels over the last five years. We have a rotating schedule for our own care for Mom, and this caregiver always gladly fits right in where we leave off as needed. Those times include days or nights. Home Instead has accepted our shuffling of schedules basically each week as our work schedules differ . We have no cause for worry or concern when this person and this agency is in charge of our precious mother.
