  I had previously left a positive review because I was happy with this plasma center, but unfortunately, my recent experiences have changed my opinion. During one of my last donations, I had an issue with the needle placement that left my right arm badly bruised and unable to be used for 3 weeks. When I returned, I asked to have someone I trusted insert the needle in my other arm because I didn’t want to risk having problems with both arms and being unable to donate. I was disappointed that I wasn’t allowed to make that request. When donors have already had a bad experience, I believe their concerns should be taken seriously. I had been very happy with this center until this happened, but this experience left me very disappointed.

  Just got done donating at this center for the first time. Shauna was amazing helping me thru the process, answered all my questions. Start to finish the entire process was extremely easy.

  These are non licensed clinicians who don’t know the proper way to take blood pressure. I have large arms and very soft skin. The medical receptionist used a smaller blood pressure band in my arm that felt like it was ripping my skin next thing I know I’m deferred. I contacted the center manager by email as I have a code on my account to allow these commutations other than being in person but I received no response. Go at your own risk this is listed in the disclaimer they aren’t responsible for anything that goes wrong with your donation. I had another incident where the assistant manager was laughing at me while I was in tears and pain from the needle being in my arm too long and she didn’t want to remove it, she is no longer there like most of the employees.

  Theresa at the front desk helps get you through the screening process as quickly as possible. Candice, as well as all of the phlebotomists, can find your vein and reduce the chances of needing a re-stick.
