  Dr. You and his staff are rude and incompetent. When my daughter was initially referred there from the ECU student health center, she had to see Lolly the PA. Lolly never listened to her and continuously tried to get rid of her, telling her to take a probiotic. Fortunately, the ECU Student Health Center is more professional than Gastro East, because they wete persistent in their referral. Dr. You finally diagnosed her with Chron's. Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there. When my daughter was in pain, they could never work her in for under a month, when her medication was not working, they increasingly became more rude and apathetic, refusing to prescribe a different medicine to try and actually help her, particularly if it involved advocating for her with the insurance company. Yesterday was the final straw. My daughter has been suffering in pain for several months, refused an earlier appointment, so she had high hopes for yesterday. She had even practiced what she was going to say to him about requesting a different medicine with her friends. When he finally came into the room to see her, he told her that her pain was not due to Chron's and that he would not prescribe her another medicine. He stayed less than 90 seconds, and had no concern for her pain and suffering. When someone shows me how they really are, I believe them! Peace out Dr. Indifferent and your staff of "Mean Girls!"

  Been attending this facility for last 3 years, never had a visits where is was not professional or unpleasant. Every step of my treatment was explain clearly and never rushed. Clear communication and wonder bedside manners.

  The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable, and put my fears at ease. My doctor was very knowledgeable and explained the procedure in terms that was understandable. The rose at the end was very special. I have not been given a flower in years

  Check in staff not as friendly as in the past but still ok. Set up for the procedure seem to take a little longer to wait then I remember last time. The procedure was great and so was the doctor.
