  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I traveled all the way from New Jersey to have my root canal procedure done by Dr. Prenard R. Mickens after hearing so many great things about his work — and he absolutely did not disappoint. From the recommendations I received to my actual in-person experience, everything exceeded my expectations. Dr. Mickens is professional, knowledgeable, patient, and truly skilled at what he does. Root canals can be nerve-wracking, but he made the entire process smooth, comfortable, and reassuring from start to finish. You can genuinely tell he takes pride in providing great work and caring for his patients. What stood out to me the most was the personal follow-up phone call from Dr. Mickens himself after the procedure — not a receptionist or assistant, but the doctor personally checking in to make sure I was doing well. That level of care and professionalism is rare these days and speaks volumes about the type of dentist he is. If you’re looking for a dentist who is highly recommended for a reason and truly delivers quality care, I would absolutely recommend Dr. Prenard R. Mickens. Worth the trip from Jersey without question!

  This practice is excellent. They treat all their patients with respect and kindness. They are very professional and attentive, especially to people who need a little extra help and I am grateful for that.

  I hate that I have to give the one star. For starters our appointments are always scheduled way out further than they should due to access and availability which we’ve always understood & tolerated. Our last appointment was scheduled 9 months out further than it should have been, now we are a month before our appointment and we received a call to reschedule to another month out. The lady that called was very NASTY & unprofessional! Her response, “well ma’am I don’t know what to tell you” instead of offering an apology or at minimum, concern. We will NEVER step foot back in this place again! I hate we ever went here as patients. There are better places to go that will respect you & your time.

  Had a 2pm appointment, finally just cancelled at 2:30 once I was told they still had 2 more appointments in front of me. Asked if it was always like this and was told yes. Had a vague memory of that being the reason I stopped coming to the practice. Sigh.
