  I grew up having John Hall Sr as my dermatologist through my teenage years in the 80s. I was glad to hear his son still continued the practice. Moving back to the area I tried a few recommened to me. Care was not in the vocab. My husband I have both seen Dr McConnell in Dr Hall Jrs office. She was great. She does a true sceening for new patients, unlike other dermatologists in the area. I was more than pleased with our care and have no issues with returning if need be. Thank you to the staff also for being so nice.

  Always a pleasure to make my annual appointment to see my Dermatologist, Dr Hal. Always insightful, professional and listens. Detailed skin evaluation. Recommendations for further treatment..

  Had a pleasant experience today at Dr. Hall. Very caring and concerned.Took care of a few things and gave me a plan.Trust Dr. Hall and his staff completely. Been a patient for many years... Amazing Doctor.. his nurse also!! Going back in 3 months.

  I have been a patient of Dr Hall’s for a very long time. I trusted his diagnostic evaluations. I’m sorry to say after 2 somewhat serious misdiagnoses I can no longer use Dr Hall as my dermatologist. As briefly as I can I will tell you why: -I had a painful 1/2 - 3/4” crusty spot on my head which was very painful even when the shower water directly hit it. -Dr Hall said it was something I inherited and he froze it with liquid nitrogen, even though I told him how painful it was. -For the next 6 months I went back 3 times because it was still there. Again I was told it was nothing and again the liquid nitrogen. - Because of my frustration Amber “sliced it off” and sent it to the lab. -It came back as squamous cell cancer.!! -I went back and wanted a dr that could tell me if they got it all.Upon my insistence I was referred to a Mohs surgeon in WS. -I got 14 stitches in the top of my head as that cancer had spread! I’m glad I insisted on seeing someone for verification.! The 1/2 - 3/4” “something I inherited” turned into about 4” of squamous cell cancer. My second misdiagnosis: -I had an extremely itchy area on my arm about the size of 3-4 mosquito bites and so itchy. Dr Hall said it was Eczema. I got several more of them over that same 6 mo. time and had to ask for stronger and stronger cream for the itch. -For reasons I can not go into it was not Eczema at all. Far from it. My last visit about my lab result on my head, I casually asked them what they thought it was. It was not Eczema….and it got worse because it was misdiagnosed! It took a long time to treat it . I”m disappointed to have to leave Dr Hall but I can not continue going there after my 2 very bad misdiagnoses that for me were quite serious.

  Visit confirmed my suspicion that my primary Dr. dismissed. Took care of two issues today. Have another appt. to address another issue. At my age, growing skin tags and keratosis. Dr. Hall gave me some peace of mind with a full exam. Gave me some medical advice to address another issue that he noticed and did not have to. Friendly, likable, professional. Addressed all my issues I came in for plus! Highly recommend Dr. Hall if you need a dermatologist! I will see him again as my first choice as I need a dermatologist!
