I came in today with an insurance claim to order new meta glasses. The employee I believe his name was Austin..heavy set white guy with a beard. He didnt greet me and when I told him the glasses I wanted he immediately told me I couldn't get them bc he didnt have a pair to do the measurements so he got the same ones I was doing the claim for and placed an order. I asked him to about ordering the pair I wanted he told me it was grayed out and he couldn't order but he never checked. This is my 3rd time being helped by him. He is a grumpy rude liar. When I called him out about not ordering the pair I wanted he said he could not cancel the order bc he had already placed it. I told him he needed to work on his customer service and practice patience once I said that he gave me my glasses back and insurance claim paper work that he claimed was already processed. I said you just told me you could not cancel the order but he somehow magically canceled it. When I asked for manager number he wouldn't give it to me or the corporate number. I have purchase 4 glasses total from this location and each time I prayed that he did not wait on me bc of his rude unhelpful attitude. I will use another location from now on!

I am giving Lens Crafter and Fox Eye a 1 only because the numerical grade does not go lower. I made an appointment close to a month ago, received confirmation the appointment was set. Then 2 hours just before the appointment I received another appointment confirmation. I proceeded to drive over 100 miles to arrive 20 minutes early. Upon my arrival they informed me that they had previously canceled my appointment, even though I had the text showing my appointment confirmation. I asked for a manager and the person that was telling me my appointment had been canceled said she was the manager. After several minutes of back and forth I was told there is just nothing they could do. They made no attempt to work me in, even though they were clearly at fault. I walked out and stepped into Lens Crafters next door to request corporate contact #s. The manager said they were two completely separate companies yet went on to state, that he was her manager and that the manager of Fox eye care worked for Lens Crafters. They claim they are separate as an attempt to excuse themselves from any responsibility. I found both to be incompetent, completely unprofessional and they couldn't care less about their customers. I, nor any of my family members will ever go here or any of their other facilities again.

The staff was kind and courteous. The wait was not long. The service was punctual.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
