- ASAnne StanleyJun 11, 20261.0The 'mandatory' retina scan could've been disclosed PRIOR to the appointment (some of us have limited funds) AND how petty is it that they can't include the PD number so you can buy less expensive glasses from someone other than lenscrafters?? The only way you get the PD number is take your script to lenscrafters or, as the little guy at the desk literally said, "go to youtube and watch a video on how to do it yourself" and they obviously KNOW that you can't order glasses online without the PD (pupil distance) number. Petty. And seems kinda greedy. I'll go elsewhere from now on.

I was in the eye room on time and Adrian made the machines do their thing, moving me smoothly thru the stations. . Dr Banawoe reviewed everything with me, and was very reassuring about my eye health. He went thru the refraction testing and was very patient with me, determining the best correctional lenses. He showed me where my vision had changed, based on my prior lenses. His personality, quiet voice and professional demeanor were very comforting. I can recommend this office and staff without hesitation.
- SASusan AyreMay 26, 20262.0The optometrist informed me that I have the beginning of macular degeneration. This is life altering and devastating news. He told me with his back towards me and in a very nonchalant way. What makes the situation even worse is that earlier in the appointment I told him that my grandmother was completely blind from macular degeneration and it is a huge fear of mine that I will get it too. As a healthcare provider, this is absolutely unacceptable. I cried the whole way home. Conversely, the front desk staff were lovely!
