I will never go to a place that does not have a bathroom for their patients! It shouldn’t matter if it’s at a Mall location. I had to walk on the other side of the mall to use the bathroom! The prescription that was given to me is way off I told the Dr she said she didn’t have time to explain why it was different my prescription for contacts are -5.75 in one eye and -5.50 in the other she gave me -4.50 ad 4.00 told me to wear them for a week TOTAL WASTE I will be back Monday and my appointment was this past Saturday so if I could give no stars that’s what it would be btw I’ve been wearing contacts for 32 years so I know my eyes thanks for nothing!

Front desk staff were super friendly. The young lady who did the pre exam and the eye doctor were awesome. Best eye exam I’ve ever had.

The staff, technicians and Dr Engle are always so very pleasant and helpful. Whenever I ask questions about my eye health, they graciously answer in detail so that I fully understand and are at ease with my concerns. I was given a new test, an ERG (aka EKG for the eyes) and was put at ease during the process.

I recently had an eye exam with Dr. Erin Downing at The Eye Center, next to LensCrafters, Fayetteville.
I was long overdue with having my eyes checked and had some concerns about my vision.
Dr. Downing went through my exam results thoroughly and addressed each issue. Thankfully, there was nothing to worry about. She didn't rush me through the process of finding my new prescriptions for lenses. She was very reassuring that things were fine.
The front office staff were all very nice as well. Everyone seemed so happy to be there. Overall from start to finish it was a very good experience.

Frequently Asked Questions About The Eye Center Fayetteville
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What is involved in an eye exam?
An eye exam involves a series of simple but comprehensive tests that allow your optometrist to assess your vision and your eye health. Your optometrist will discuss the results of your eye exam with you and determine the right prescription to help you to see your best.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
