  We interviewed several home health care companies as well as assisted living facilities for my father. We decided on Homestead. They were affordable and local. After a few months into having them care for my 88 year old Father who was in the early stages of dementia, I knew they were definitely a company that fulfilled their promises. Anytime I called, (I live in VA, dad in NC) with issues or concerns I always got ahold of Savanna Johnson. Her calm and concerning voice helped settle me and solved whatever issues there were. They are flexible with the caregivers and schedules. As my dad aged to 89 and he's dementia increased, more care was needed. They helped ease my stress and concerns. When he needed round the clock care they were there. The caregivers that helped him ment alot to me and he enjoyed most of them. But, at the end of his life this March, some even came to visit him in Hospice. He knew them without saying anything. I felt that they really got attached to him. It was a job, but it also became more than that. I'm grateful to Homestead for everything they did for me and my family. I have recommended them to many here in VA and NC that have asked. I definitely made the best decision for my dad.

  HomeInstead, very nice to work with your loved one. Caregivers are top notch and reliable. Communication is great. Our family would highly recommend Home Instead for your needs for your aging loved one.

  Got a job there everything was fine talked to them about my schedule then they still had me scheduled for a shift on 2 days I could not do I also work a full time job and was told by the director to call her she left a voicemail with her office number and cell number and told me to call her to discuss my schedule, but before I could even call her, I got a message from home instead another employee supervisor that said I was terminated and after that they all ignored me so I’m giving a 1 star due to what they put me through with this

  We used Home Instead for my mother and really connected with the caregivers. They were all so kind and compassionate with my mom. I would highly recommend them for assistance with taking care of family members.

  I am employed with Home Instead in the Fayetteville, NC area. I have first hand knowledge of how attentive the office personnel are to the clients. Ensuring each clients needs are met with the best fit possible for your loved one. I can't speak for the other Professional Caregivers, but I believe it speaks volumes of positive feedback from clients and staff. Only the best for our clients and families.
