  All the staff at The Eye Center are awesome! They got me checked in smoothly and quickly, and everyone was so kind throughout the whole appointment. My exam went by super quick as well, they explained every step to me and made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Wong was excellent and he answered all my questions very thoroughly. He double checked everything to make sure my eyes were healthy which I greatly appreciate, and the prescription process was very easy. This was my first eye exam ever and it was a breeze, the office is incredibly welcoming, and I would recommend it to anyone :)

  I enjoyed my annual eye exam today at The Eye Center Durham at Southpoint mall. After signing in for my appointment, I was greeted by Carissa who handled the back technician tasks, including measuring my existing eyeglass prescription, and a myriad of tests (e.g. color blindness, eye pressure, ocular health scan, and more). Carissa was professional, efficient, and friendly. She explained each test's purpose, and answered my questions without hesitation. Dr. Apeksha Patel completed my eye exam and summarized my test results. She was not rushed and genuinely cared about my medical history, encouraging me to call if I had any issues before my next exam. The entire staff at the exam office was efficient and professional. Lilly at LensCrafters did an excellent job of explaining all of the available options for selecting new eyeglass lenses within my budget. I highly recommend this office location.

  No waiting. Everyone was patient and friendly. Convenient location. The Dr. Did not rush me out, felt like you could trust this establishment. Front desk appeal was friendly, warm, old school customer service 10. Lens Crafters office just as friendly. Nice eyewear selection Tiffani, Prada, Coach, Ray Ban & Meta etc. Cohesive, organized, streamlined those are the words for overall feel. Thank you!

  From the moment I walked in, I felt very welcomed. Alexis and Emelda greeted me with a smile, were incredibly friendly and helpful getting me checked in, handled my insurance efficiently, and let me know my expected wait time upfront. Alexis had called me ahead of my Saturday appointment to let me know I could come in a little early which I really appreciated because I had to get home quickly for childcare. They really set the tone for the whole visit. My technician, Carissa, was outstanding. She walked me through every step of my comprehensive eye exam clearly and confidently, always letting me know what to expect, when to hold still, when not to blink, what was coming next. She had such an organized, efficient system that my health history flew by, and I got to see the doctor much faster than I expected. She was also just genuinely warm and kind throughout. The doctor wrapped up the exam quickly and had me on my way in no time. The whole experience was smooth, efficient, and never felt rushed, just very well-run. I was impressed with their level of high tech examination tools. I had never seen a number of the tools they had on site. I’ll absolutely be coming back for all future eye exams and would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a team that’s both skilled and pleasant to be around.

  Searching for a new eye-care provider can be daunting but all the staff here is very welcoming, and supportive from the very beginning. I had my first appointment 2 weeks ago where I was greeted by Don, who was truly amazing. Erica was my back technician and she was also very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Patel is very kind/knowledgeable and was very helpful and patient with all the questions and concerns I had. I returned today for a contact consultation where I was assisted by Alexis and she was also great! I have never worn contacts before so she made the learning process less intimidating. She worked with me a few times until I felt comfortable doing it on my own. Everyone here is truly wonderful, from the front desk to the back, I definitely recommend coming here.
