  Awesome service, had a thorough , efficient eye exam then got my new glasses next door. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and very helpful.

  I visited your office today for an eye exam to update my prescription for driving. During the fitting process, you only had one of the correct multifocal monovision lenses for my right eye. I politely requested that you allow me to wear that lens since it was a correct fit and simply provide a trial lens for my left eye to complete the set. I explained that this would be a simple solution with no drawbacks, yet you refused. This interaction made my experience extremely unpleasant, and I felt my request was dismissed without reason. I am reaching out to share this feedback as I intend to escalate this matter to corporate.

  Karen was wondering and abouslty amazing with help me pick just the right frames and colors for my new glasses she went above and beyond to help me and make me comfortable will definitely recommend them and plus is I was able to get my new glasses with an hour

  Went in and ordered a nice pair of glasses, showed up a day later to pick up my new glasses to find that the prescription wasn’t right and I couldn’t see out of them. I was told that I could pick a pair of frames for free since I paid for a pair, I picked a pair from the cheaper frames but didn’t have them put lenses in them and finalize because what would be the point in putting frames that I can’t see out of in a new pair of frames? Returned a day later with a new prescription (very similar to old one so I don’t think that I got a bad prescription the first time) And I was told that I could no longer get my free pair of frames because I didn’t get them the same day? I could almost understand the policy but what got me was that the employees told me to come back and get my free pair when I got my new prescription, it was only the manager who pulled these semantics despite it likely being their labs fault that my glasses weren’t right the first time. Employees wonderful Manager awful.

  I recently visited Eyemart Express (Suite 262 on Durham-Chapel Hill Road in Durham) after my son broke his frames. His lenses were still perfectly fine, so we were just hoping to find a quick and affordable solution. When I walked in, the general manager, Jimmy S., went above and beyond. Instead of pushing a sale, he took the time to carefully glue and repair the frames so my son could get through the day because he really needed his glasses. In order to get a new pair my son needed to be present. That level of kindness and thoughtfulness truly meant a lot. In a time where many places focus only on transactions, Jimmy showed genuine care and compassion. Because of that, I gladly supported the business by purchasing lens cleaner and a cloth—items we actually needed—but more importantly, I wanted to give back in some small way for his generosity. There are plenty of places you can go for services, but what makes a business stand out is how they treat people. This experience is exactly what will bring me back. If you’re looking for a place that values kindness, compassion, and customer care, I highly recommend Eyemart Express.
