Anchor is a 24-hour strength training gym in downtown Durham on South Duke Street. You don't need to be a powerlifter to train here — everyone working toward getting stronger is welcome.
Phone-controlled entry gives members access around the clock, and on-site showers make it easy to train before work or on the way home. Our unstaffed facility is stocked with competition-grade equipment: squat and combo racks, calibrated plates, deadlift platforms, and climate control throughout.
Coach-led classes run for every experience level, including women's-only, kids ages 8+, and a beginner program for lifters 50 and over. One-on-one coaching and day passes are also available.
