Kayla was fantastic! She was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. I left with contacts and two pairs of glasses and couldn’t be happier with the service I received!

Dr Daniel was great. Highly recommend him, but this was my worst experience at a LensCrafters or any eye place… The policy mentioned retinal imaging vs getting your eyes dilated, so I planned to choose to get my eyes dilated. I’ve always gotten my eyes dilated, even at LensCrafters as I have light sensitivity. I mentioned I wanted to opt out and get my eyes dilated as usual and the lady said that wasn’t an option unless deemed “medically necessary”. (Just learned Light sensitivity is a medically necessary reason to get eyes dilated and she misled me) She also said they didn’t operate the same as other Lens Crafters….She also didn’t explain the retinal imaging process at all, so when I suddenly had the bright green flashing across my eyes, my stomach immediately dropped. I was on the verge of throwing up before seeing the Dr, but the lady did not care at all…The receptionist was really sweet and got me an alcohol pad to smell, to help prevent me from throwing up. I didn’t catch her name, but thank you.🫶 I was really nauseous throughout my visit with Dr. Daniel, but he was GREAT and took time to really explain things so I could learn more about my eyes. Thank you. It’s been a couple hours since my appointment and I still feel really sick from the retinal imaging. I’d rather have my eyes dilated and just wear sunglasses as usual. I asked the lady if they could possibly mention clearly that dilation isn’t an option on the phone when people make appointments, and she quickly dismissed me saying it was in the vague policy I signed… I was really nauseous at this point and she couldn’t care less. I won’t be coming to this location after picking up my glasses since I need dilation and neither I nor my husband liked our exams with her. If you don’t have light sensitivity, then this place should be fine and you’ll really like the doctor. 👍

This is the first optometrist that explained to me how I was supposed to take the eye exam and found lenses that make my eyes feel like they're at a spa. The woman who helped me find frames was great as well, very knowledgeable and she found me multiple frames in my price range to try on.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
