- MMMandisaMay 8, 20261.0Since my first review was erased, I will leave another because of the text that was sent to me about missing my appointment. On 5/4/26 at approximately 9:40 a.m. I walked in the business and said, “ Good morning” to both staff members sitting at the front desk. One was an African American woman and the other I have no idea of her ethnic background. Neither greeted me. I said, “Good morning” again. The woman sitting by the black woman said she will help you as the black woman reached her arm out with a clip board. No one greeted me so I took my business elsewhere. As I said before, DEI is definitely here but there is no customer service skills present. Do better and learn how to greet your customers. Get rid of the attitude be thankful you are working.

The front desk staff came across as unprofessional, which set a negative tone from the beginning. Additionally, the overall cleanliness of the office was concerning—the floors appeared to need vacuuming and the walls could benefit from cleaning. During my appointment with Dr. Lisa, I felt that the visit was somewhat rushed and lacked the level of attentiveness I was expecting. Afterward, I was approached by a representative from the adjoining LensCrafters regarding purchasing eyeglasses. I explained that I only needed my pupillary distance, as I planned to use a credit with an online retailer. At that point, the representative’s demeanor noticeably changed, and I was told that this information could not be provided due to “liability issues.” It’s worth noting that I was the only customer in the store at the time, which made the experience feel even more impersonal. Overall, the visit did not meet expectations in terms of professionalism, cleanliness, or customer service.
