I have had an abject terror of dentists for decades. Dr. Payet is gentle, kind, compassionate and attentive in a way that most doctors are not. He listened to my concerns, was gentle while conducting the examination and answered any questions I had. It was not a rushed visit at all. His assistant Kim is awesome as well. I was there for a consultation about a sleep apnea appliance vs. a Cpap machine. While I had an appliance a number of years ago ongoing dental work precluded my using it. I had also tried a Cpap and found it uncomfortable so I really did not use it for long.
This was a whole new experience for the mouth appliance. Everyone in the office was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. After taking measurements to see if I was eligible to get one, Dr. Payet discussed options that have never been talked about before with me by any other provider. What he said made complete sense. I will try the recommendations he prescribed and if that does not make things better I will go back to him (without question) to discuss the appliance.
I have to say that I was very impress with the office as a whole and his thoughts about trying something else before I go to the expense of having an appliance made.I truly appreciated the honesty and suggesting what is best for the patient and not his income. What a great first experience.
