Childhood Sleep Disordered Breathing

Sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) is an all-inclusive term for breathing difficulties, ranging from mild snoring to a severe obstruction during sleep (sleep apnea). When your child’s breathing is impeded, their body recognizes the interruption similarly to choking, slowing the heart rate, raising the blood pressure, arousing the brain, and ultimately disrupting sleep. This prevents proper brain function the next day and often leads to other medical complications

Vivos® Guide System

The Vivos® Guide System for children directs proper upper and lower jaw development as they grow. The treatment consists of special removable retainers that are worn by the child at night and whenever possible. It helps plan for newly erupted and future teeth ensuring that they have enough room in the mouth. As their jaws properly develop, their airway also develops as as well. The treatment averages between 12 and 24 months and NO surgery or pharmaceuticals are involved!

Home Sleep Testing

You can get a home sleep test through us, potentially through your primary care physician or go to a sleep center that performs in-lab sleep tests. The benefit of getting a sleep test through is expediency, low cost and home comfort/natural sleeping environment. We do not profit from sleep testing. Most insurances will assist with the cost. Renting a home sleep test has never been easier and more cost effective.

    I had to go to a sleep study to pass a DOT physical for a job and I am glad I stumbled across this company. They have been very easy to work with and also not too slow with results/appointments. Very professional and explanatory on what to do. The machine was simple to handle and lightweight, the app that connects to the sleep monitor is pretty simple as well. I would come back if I need to again.

    What an amazing experience so far! I’ve had my Vivos sleep therapy appliance for 5 months now and I feel like a new person already. I sleep great and wake up feeling rested, and without the groggy headaches I used to wake up to daily. It’s literally life changing! The staff are all so kind, they make it a very pleasant experience each time I go in for adjustments.

    When Dr. Nnadi advised I come in for Laser therapy to widen my Airway so I snore less and sleep better. I was a bit concerned because I didn't know what to expect . The Team was so patient explaining what it entailed . The procedure itself was quick and PAINLESS like nothing was done and yes no Injections too. I immediately felt more air coming into my airways !     I have been working with Dr. Nnadi and team for approximately 6 months. I have had sleep apnea for approximately 15 years, and I have tried CPAP, surgery, and conventional MMA dental appliances, but still had a severe case when I started with Dr. Nnadi. I have been very pleased with the thorough diagnostics, the cross-functional team that has worked on my case, and the progress I have made so far. The process takes time, and I have a way yet to go, but I have confidence that the Vivos mRNA treatment will significantly improve the quality of my sleep.
