I highly recommend Dr. Slovak and his team! I was referred to this facility by insurance company and I’m so glad this facility was the chosen one! From the time I scheduled my appointment, I knew I was going to be treated exceptionally well! Every single person working there is a direct example of what customer service should look like! They are very thorough, explains things in the most basic ways, very empathetic, great listeners and the list goes on and on! I would refer this facility to anyone needing assistance with their feet! Thanks for welcoming me and taking care of my needs!

Great experience here. Dr Slovak was thorough and took the time to explain the issue and recommendations. He made sure I understood the treatment. The staff were helpful and kind. I highly recommend this practice. JW

I saw Dr Slovak. He was really nice, when I could get a hold of him. I went in for some foot pain (Mon, May 11th) and was VERY surprised to learn my foot was broken in two places. They told me to wear a boot for 4-6 weeks (unfortunately it was right foot so I had to take it on/off every time I drove) and to get an MRI to see the extent of damage. They didn't give any specific time frames, but made it seem like it would be a really quick process (I've never had an MRI before this). Boy was I wrong 😂 I had my initial conversation with the Dr, and the follow up with the MRI results 3 weeks later, where he mentioned that if the pain doesn't go away surgery might need to be the next conversation. I definitely did not want that. So I did what I could, but I didn't feel like I was given much guidance as to care other than just epsom salt soaks and a topical gel because the pill passes through breastmilk and I am nursing. During the second conversation (3 weeks in boot, June 2), he advised I take the next 10 days to spend small amounts of time without the boot to see how it's doing and report back. It took until Monday June 22nd to get a hold of the Dr assistant, who said they would call me right back and never did. Then I woke with the Dr assistant on Thursday (June 25th, week 7 in boot) and explained I was trying to report back to the Dr to see next steps and I was nervous because I was still experiencing some pain. She then proceeded to tell me "there is no surgical intervention for a fracture" and when I tried to explain I only brought it up because the Dr had, she said she didn't know what to tell me because there were no notes in my chart about it. She then told me to give it another week and she would send over another prescription (there must not have been notes about me not being able to take the pills due to breastfeeding because both the topical gel and pills were prescribed). No follow up x rays were ever brought up. I chose to go to another office to finish my treatment as I felt like they didn't really seem to be interested in helping me.

Dr Slovak was great and gave me several alternatives to try before the last option of surgery. It was a very good experience.
