I purchased a set of foot supports recommended by the Good Feet Store. The cost was $1500. There is simply no real science to these. They look at your feet, have you step on a piece of paper, take your shoe size and then sell you six pieces of hard plastic that slide all round inside your shoes. On top of these, you slide a very thin cushion. In my experience, these are actually dangerous to wear unless you are walking only on level ground. If you put them in athletic shoes, you risk rolling an ankle because they slide and move under your feet. The same thing is true if you are walking or working on uneven ground. My feet often hurt more, and my ankles get tested regularly, because of all the movement of these hard plastic inserts. I have several pairs of cheaper, full foot insert arch supports that all do much better than the Good Feet Store arch supports -- at a very small fraction of the cost. As the saying goes, the juice is not worth the squeeze with this product.
Response to follow up.
If you genuinely want to address the issue, a full refund would be appropriate. But you can’t fix the problem with these inserts.

I really enjoyed every facet of my time there, they were knowledgeable and were great. The sales team were nice and accommodating. I didn't buy their insoles though, because of price. They are rather expensive.

I came into the Chapel Hill Good Fee today in pain and desperately in need of help and relief from the pain. I initially came in to see how much the system would cost. After a very thorough and informative session and presentation by Darius, I am sold and have a renewed appreciation for the Good Feet system. He showed me where my feet and posture are at now, and has given me hope that I will be able to have relief and improvement in how my body feels. Before we were done I almost cried from the care and connect I received. I walked out with my system, renewed and excited! Thank you Darius and Good Feet.

After years of tolerating foot discomfort, I decided to visit The Good Feet Store for help. The staff were warm and welcoming. They were professional, thorough, and patient in describing testing, analysis, and finally treatment recommendations for my problem feet. I immediately felt the difference in comfort for standing and walking, as well as balance, with the new orthotics system that I left the store with. I appreciated the staff’s demonstrated knowledge of foot mechanics and have quickly noticed that my overall foot comfort has improved.
Frequently Asked Questions About The Good Feet Store
How are our arch supports different from inserts and insoles I can buy online or in drug stores?
Good Feet Arch Supports are designed to provide the firm, yet flexible function necessary to help correct poor foot biomechanics, providing long term pain-relief solutions.
I buy good shoes, but my feet still hurt. Can arch supports help me?
Absolutely. It’s common for people to think that their shoes are the problem, when in reality it’s often the foot that’s going into the shoes that’s the real source of discomfort. By stabilizing the foot with a good arch support, the pain and discomfort caused by common foot and foot-related problems can often be minimized or alleviated.
Will I be able to take my arch supports home the same day I purchase them?
Yes, for ages 6+. Your local Good Feet Store stocks a full inventory of arch supports. Once you’ve been fitted and have found the supports that work the best for you, you’ll be able to wear your new arch supports home.
How do I get my free fitting?
It’s simple. Just stop by your local Good Feet Store. No appointment is necessary, but if you prefer, you can schedule an appointment at the store near you.
Can I use my HSA or FSA funds to purchase arch supports?
Yes, you can use your HSA or FSA to purchase our arch supports. Arch supports, shoe inserts, insoles, or orthotics are eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA), or a health reimbursement arrangement
(HRA). However, arch support reimbursement is not eligible with a limited-purpose flexible spending account (LPFSA) or a dependent care flexible spending account
(DCFSA). Arch Support Inserts are eligible for reimbursement with an FSA or HSA as they are devices placed into your shoes to support the arch of your foot to reduce discomfort. Important Reminder: FSAs, HSAs, and other listed account types may differ. Be sure to check with your administrator before making a purchase.
