Dr Jenn and her Asst. Jarae are wonderful my daughter has had a very bad experience in a different dental office and different provider. Once she came to them they walked her through and made her as comfortable as possible, and it’s hard to get her to calm down about being in a dental office sent her experience and it went so well that now she’s willing to give out hugs and more accepting to going into the dentist office so thank you both.

Brittany was absolutely amazing at making me feel better about my 4 year old daughter getting work done on her teeth. She explained everything so perfectly and detailed about the procedure they were going to do to my baby girl. Everything went smoothly and I am absolutely happy about our experience at Crisp Dentistry!! I highly recommend to everyone looking for a safe and caring place for their babies!

Wonderful experience and service. Everyone we came in contact with was so friendly. Dr. Crisp gave same day treatment to our son because we came a longer way than most. That was so considerate. She was so good with our son. Jarae' was wonderful with my son, explaining to him each step of what she was going to do. She let him hang on to her arm for comfort. Just all around a great dental office for children. 5 💫💫💫💫💫
Frequently Asked Questions About Crisp & Associates Pediatric Dentistry
How is a pediatric dentist different from a regular dentist?
Pediatric dentists specialize in treating patients under 18 years old, including toddlers with their first teeth. They undergo additional training beyond a standard dental degree to focus on the specific oral development needs of children and adolescents.
What happens if adult teeth start coming in behind baby teeth?
This is a common occurrence and usually not cause for concern. It happens when an adult tooth emerges before the corresponding baby tooth has loosened enough to fall out naturally. If the baby tooth doesn't fall out within about two months of wiggling, we can safely remove it to prevent potential alignment issues.
When will my baby start getting teeth?
Typically, babies begin teething between 6 to 8 months of age. By their third birthday, most children have a full set of 20 primary teeth. The emergence of permanent teeth can start as early as age 6 and continue until around age 21.
Does my child need a filling on a baby tooth?
The necessity for a filling depends on your child's age and the specific tooth's condition. For teeth expected to fall out soon, we might opt to wait or extract the tooth. However, for younger children, we may recommend a filling to prevent infection or maintain proper spacing for future adult teeth. If you suspect a cavity, please contact our office to discuss the best course of action.
What things can damage a filling or cause it to fall out?
Sticky foods are often responsible for damaging fillings. These foods can gradually loosen the filling material, potentially causing it to fall out. While fillings are designed to restore tooth function and prevent further decay, they aren't as durable as natural tooth enamel and can be susceptible to damage from certain foods.
