  A Review I’ll Never Forget ❤️ I honestly don’t know how to express my gratitude for Eyemart Express in Asheville. My son’s glasses were destroyed in a horrible accident, and after everything he had already endured, including plastic surgery, I was overwhelmed trying to get him ready to start school. We first visited Stanton Optical, where I was told his prescription had changed dramatically and that something could be seriously wrong with his eyes. Terrified, I paid an additional $80 for an OCT scan, which thankfully came back normal. The appointment took nearly two hours, and I left feeling scared, confused and without clear answers. When we arrived at Eyemart Express on Saturday, we had only one hour before closing. I was emotionally exhausted and felt close to breaking down. Then we met frank and Jody. They were kind, patient and genuinely understanding. Jody took the time to review the paperwork from Stanton Optical and quickly realized that my son’s prescription had not changed nearly as dramatically as I had been led to believe. She explained everything clearly, answered my questions and gave me the peace of mind I desperately needed. She also went above and beyond financially. Since I haven’t been working while caring for my son, I was worried about the cost. His lenses are very thick, but jody helped us get thinner lenses, gave me a coupon and then told me his glasses were FREE. I was overwhelmed by their generosity. They treated us with kindness and dignity, never making me feel like a burden. Even though we arrived just an hour before closing, they finished his glasses the SAME DAY. Jody and Frank may have thought they were simply doing their jobs, but to us, they did so much more. They helped a scared, exhausted mom breathe again and gave me one less thing to worry about during one of the hardest times of our lives. I will not be returning to Stanton Optical, but Eyemart Express will absolutely have my business from now on. Thank you, Jody and frank, for your compassion, patience, generosity and kindness. You didn’t just provide my son with glasses—you helped me feel like everything was going to be okay. ❤️ If you’re looking for an optical store in the Asheville area, I cannot recommend Eyemart Express enough. Jody and frank, you are truly wonderful people. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

  The staff was absolutely phenomenal. We were on vacation when my daughter's glasses were lost. We called first to see if they would be able to help us, and they were very kind and helpful. They explained the process of getting them replaced. When we arrived the next day the entire staff welcomed us, helped with the process and even shared treats with our dog. They made a stressful experience incredible. If we didn't live several states away this would be our #1 eye care location.

  I bought two pairs of eyeglasses in December 2025. By July 2026 it was scratched and discolored. I went to another vision center to get eyeglasses looked at and they said oh that's because they're polycarbonate lenses which don't hold up. I paid way too much money for these two pairs of glasses and wore my main ones all the time which normally last about 2 years. These hardly lasted 7 months. Very disappointed- update thank you for your response- no I will not be returning to polycarbonate lenses, but thanks for trying

  Word was that this was good place to get glasses quickly. In fact Eyemart far exceeds that. It was calm, professional, and is perfect for anyone's needs. It is operated by very experienced professionals who produce lenses on site. Turn around is apparently an hour or two normally. Only the young lady, Reba, who lead me through my choices, prices, and all other factors was a trainee. However she obviously enjoys, even loves her job, and as I came to understand, had already mastered knowledge and skills as perfectly as I could have hoped. The pricing was fine too. This will be my go to place for eyewear in the future.
