  This pharmacy is outrageous! I am NOT going to write a novel, because it sure is worth it based off of all the instances. The highlights are being dispensed the wrong dosage of a medication, that they would NOT correct because it was in |my possession." My possession was immediately after payment and had not left their counter! I paid full price ... A LOT of money, and no way of correcting the issue. The pharmacist is absolutely rude! When they call they simply speak over you, and not try to help resolve an issues with getting prescriptions. I have even had issues transferring to a different Harris Teeter, because that was the obvious first choice ... just go some where else. They made it nearly impossible, and a struggle. They have refused to bill an insurance for a prescription, until I had it escalated both with insurance and harris teeter corporate, and had back payments for a year. I had to pay full price for prescriptions, because going without was not an option ... it was for my child! Harris Teeter corporate audited my account and credited me back my overpayments, but not everyone can pay up front for a medication to wait 6-9 months for credits. Then to try to work with him is just impossible, they yell at customers over the phone, instead of trying to help. They insist messages have been sent, but they were never received. When I went to pick up a prescription that should have been ready, it wasn't. Notified it had to be ordered, but never heard when it was ready. Then an absolutely rude condescending pharmacist yelling that it needs to be picked up today, but mind you ... i had to leave town with my prescription, when no one told me it needed to be ordered. Now, I am states away, and had zero help trying to figure out how I can be sure this is ready for when I get back. Some one really needs to look into this pharmacist and pharmacy ... and please do something so we can get prescriptions in a timely manner without being yelled out rudely for absolutely no reason! So we can get the right dosage ... so patients are not put in these impossible situations. I urge harris teeter, please look closely! Every time I have had to contact corporate there is backlash to me and my family! And I can't even get them to work with me to go some where else ... please ... I urge someone to look into this pharmacist and pharmacy! I do not know what else to do at this point. And if you're a customer ... just start with another pharmacy so you do not have to deal with this!

  I had shopped around on goodrx for the best price. I have never had a pharmacy not honor their own contracted price with goodrx, however the staff here gave me an unnecessarily hard time. One tried to explain their costs of doing business with goodrx. Another tried to say that goodrx provides only estimated prices (no, the pharmacy agrees on a set price with goodrx). Overall unfortunate and not an experience I was expecting from a retail pharmacy.

  Terrible service. I’ve had several interactions with staff that were flat out condescending and rude about medication questions & insurance. In what can be a stressful situation for some patients, particular staff have provided no support or empathy to their community- something that is an integral part of a health profession, even if just being a local grocery store pharmacy. Will not be using them for my prescriptions any longer.
