Mini implants let us work safely within those areas without removing as much bone. Because they’re smaller, we can often place them using a “flapless” technique with a surgical guide. That means we don’t need to open the gums to see the bone directly. Healing is usually much easier, and patients typically avoid the heavy bruising or swelling that can happen with more invasive procedures, even when multiple implants are placed.
