  My niece’s glasses broke last week while we were in Tupelo, so we popped in there to see about getting a new frame. Long story short, the young lady was super nice and said they accepted her insurance. So this week I booked an appointment with the optometrist next door. Superb experience there, no issues with her insurance. We step next door into eye mart: the young lady who had helped us previously recognized us but was helping someone else. The older lady at a different work station never looked up at us even though she didn’t appear to be helping anyone. From behind her, a red headed young lady popped up to help. She told us they accepted my niece’s insurance but couldn’t do anything without paperwork or her insurance card. She said they couldn’t even look it up without having the physical card or paperwork in hand. So… I drove back to New Albany, got the paperwork (which granted was my bad for forgetting it), drove back to Tupelo…. We get back into eye mart. The kind young lady must’ve been on break. The red headed lady was straightening up the display, never looked at us, no greeting. A man was helping an older woman with kids at the counter. The other worker, the older lady, was messing with her cellphone. I could hear someone else in the back talking loud on a phone call, I assumed. I stood at the counter for a minute or so waiting for the man to finish before the older lady finally asked if she could help us. I took her the paperwork and stood there. She never offered for me to take a seat, didn’t acknowledge my niece, just a rude demeanor. She called the guy over to help her with verifying the insurance but he acted like he didn’t know. She said it didn’t appear that they even took her type of insurance. She said she couldn’t pull it up in her system and had tried a couple of ways. She didn’t offer to call a help number, nothing. Just “sorry about your luck.” Basically. She handed me the paperwork back and shrugged, then waited for me to leave her alone. Zero help. I went back to the eye doctor next door. They were very kind, even printed out my niece’s insurance stuff and recommended Walmart. So we went to Walmart where the lady made a couple of phone calls to verify insurance, boom, boom, we paid and finally went home. Don’t waste your time at EyeMart. They obviously don’t care to be bothered with customers.

  Over the years this company has became extremely rude! And very unprofessional! I had to wait almost a month to pick my glasses Up only to get my glasses back and the lenses are loose and one fell out! I called to see if it will be another wait time if I brought my glasses back rudeness it is finest no accountability no apology! Customer service sucks! I’d rather take my loss! I will never go back to this company for anything I’m good! Definitely need a class on customer’s Service class!

  They are the best. I had been having some double vision due to a prior optometrist and they went above and beyond to fix my vision. I am so grateful. Thanks Eyemart y'all are awesome
