  One trick pony. I was there for a checkup and they assumed WITHOUT LISTENING TO ME AND MY ISSUES that I was there to schedule cataract surgery. Rude and unwilling to listen. Fully committed to their own assumptions and nothing was going to change that. I WILL NOT RETURN!!!!!

  Absolutely wonderful having Dr. Farmer! He is a true sweetheart, who seems to genuinely care about you, and explain, and also has great advise! I find everyone in the office extremely courteous, friendly and knowledgeable! Great experience every visit! Highly recommend❣️

  I am extremely disappointed with my experience. Before scheduling my daughter’s appointment, I specifically called and asked if her insurance was accepted. I was told yes, and I even provided the insurance information over the phone when the appointment was made. When we arrived, I gave the front desk another copy of her insurance card, so they had every opportunity to verify her coverage before the appointment began. They proceeded with the entire eye exam without mentioning any issues. It wasn’t until checkout that I was informed her insurance would not cover the visit, and I was expected to pay $175 out of pocket. Their explanation was that because my daughter didn’t have a medical eye condition, her insurance wouldn’t cover the exam, and they supposedly didn’t discover that until she was already being seen. That explanation is unacceptable. Insurance verification should happen before a patient is taken back and services are provided—not after the appointment is complete. Had I been informed beforehand, I could have decided whether to proceed or reschedule. Instead, I was left with an unexpected $175 bill. What if I hadn’t had an extra $175 available? Patients deserve transparency about their financial responsibility before receiving services, not after the fact. This experience reflects poor communication and a lack of proper insurance verification. I hope the office improves its process so other families aren’t put in the same position.
